I purchased this as part of a Clinique gift set. I have been wanting to try this moisturiser for a long time now only because I've heard such great things about it from fellow dry skin bloggers.

When I first opened this moisturiser I was quite surprised. I personally thought that it would be a thick consistency similar to other hydrating moisturiser's I've used in the past. But no, to my surprise this moisturiser has a more of a gel consistency. It's got a velvety finish and doesn't feel rich at all.

I have used this moisturiser quite a few times however, I don't use it during the day under make up only because I feel like the formula is way too thin for my dry skin. From past experience this consistency tends to leave my skin silky soft but not that moisturised.

Therefore, I have started using this as part of my once a week night time moisturiser. I like to apply this with a serum or oil underneath to really enjoy it. Lately, I have also been mixing it with my E45 cream and it works wonders! The next morning my skin is bouncy and luscious!
