| Left to Right Maybelline Fit me!- 20 Kevyn Aucoin- SX11 Maybelline Instant Anti Age Eraser- Nude Nars Creamy Concealer- Ginger
Concealer is definitely one of my dessert island must have items! I don't use foundation everyday but concealer is something I definitely need on a daily basis. If I'm not concealing a spot, I'm concealing the fact that I've been tired since 2010!
Thank you for reading my postI love all these concealers, they all have a different purpose. Firstly, The Maybelline Fit Me Concealer- ever since this little beauty came out I have been obsessed and have gone through countless tubes of them. Every time I run out I replace it without fail. I use the shade 20. When it first came out a lot of people compared it with the Nars creamy concealer, to me there is no comparison between the two. This one is a lot thinner in formulation yet this does not affect the pigmentation and the level of coverage it provides. I use it to cover blemishes and it does just that! So easy to blend, streakless and ALWAYS gives me a flawless finish.
Next we have the Kevyn Aucoin sensual enhancer- concealer or
foundation- you decide but I personally use it as a concealer. This has already
made an appearance on my Instagram before and same as the first time, I’m still in
love with it. I have the shade SX11 and I use it to colour correct any
pigmentation I may have. The orangey/yellow undertones neautralise any dark
areas I may have on my face. Yet the orangeness isn’t super noticeable. This is
quite an expensive product and you may think all that money for something so small?
Trust me I have been using this for like a year now and it’s not even half way
finished. It’s full coverage, creamy and you only need a tiny amount to
cover a large area. Unlike the other concealers in the photo, this is
the only one that is fragranced- this isn’t a strong scent and is bearable, this hasn’t affected my sensitive skin
Next is the Maybelline Age Rewind - once again this is
another product I keep repurchasing. I just love the level of coverage it
provides, the inexpensiveness and the packaging. It comes with a sponge
applicator. I find it easier to use it directly with the applicator and it
feels nice when you apply it. I have the shade nude and use it for my under
eyes- although this shade isn’t brightening, it gives me that natural awake
look. Io find this great for everyday use
Finally we have the Nars Creamy Concealer- I have already spoken about this on my blog- you can read a more thorough review if you click here. I love this concealer because of how full coverage it is. The consistency is quite thick due to the amount of coverage it provides, but a little goes a long way.
Have you guys tried any of these? If so which one is your favourite? Let me know

| Nars Sheer Glow Foundation - Syracuse Nars Creamy Concealer- Ginger |
The Nars Sheer Glow Foundation:
This foundation has revolutionised my foundation routine. Believe it or not, but since I've purchased this I don't even look at any other high end foundations. I've found everything I'm looking for in this. I use the shade Syracuse (MAC NC40 for reference) And I find it's such a great match thanks to it's warm undertones. It compliments my dry skin really well and doesn't cling to any dry patches I may have. The finish it gives is nothing less then healthy looking. I love the glow that my skin is left with.
The texture of this foundation is thin and lightweight- this is great as it's medium to full coverage, you can build it up without having the cakey feeling to it. It's also fragrance free which was an instant win for me. The only downside to this foundation isn't even with the foundation, it's the packaging! It doesn't have a pump this means it can be hard to control the amount of product that comes out, it can also get quite messy. But nonetheless now you can purchase a seperate pump for it- I'll definitely be looking in to this.
The Nars Creamy Concealer:
After seeing so many people rave about this concealer I had to give it a try. I must say... it wasn't love at first sight *shock* however, this wand of magic has really grown on me and it is now an integral step in my daily make up routine. The consistency is quite rich, which initially put me off it, but with the level of coverage it gives, that's expected. I love how it covers everything I want it to. It's a bit on the pricey side compared to a lot of other concealers out there however, because it's full coverage, a little bit can be used to cover a large area. Once again similar to the foundation, it is fragrance free. It's easy to blend in, it is a matte finish unlike the foundation. I use the shade ginger and this is a PERFECT match for me- it looks like my skin but better.
I purchased both these items from the Look Fantastic website- they usually have a 20% off code going which is useful!
Overall, I am yet to find a high end foundation to come anywhere close to how good this one is. If you're looking for a cheaper dupe check out The Oridnary Serum foundation, which is a close contender at a fraction of the price- Click here to read my thoughts on it.
