Morphe 25A Copper Spice Palette £19

If you're looking for a palette to start off with this is the one for you. The shades are wearable, easy to play around with and there's a good matte to shimmery ratio. For £19 the quality is unbeatable and you're not breaking the bank to purchase it.

Can we just talk about how well these shades photograph, WOW! This is a more warm toned palette. Boasting several shades from the brown family, it's so easy to create a smokey eye look with this. I find my self reaching for this palette so often and can't believe how wearable it is for all occasions. I like how the top three rows are full of matte shades. I tend to start off with creating a nice base with these shades. Starting off with the lighter shades on the top row, followed by shades from the second row in my crease area, then a mixture of shades from the third row to cut my crease. Some days I leave it at that, finishing off with mascara. And some days I add a bit of shimmer and then I have days where I use no shimmer but use the black shade to create a bit of a smokey lash line look. This is how this palette is so versatile and you can create create many looks with this.


If you're looking for a palette to take on holiday with you, I would recommend this one. It's safe, small and as mentioned previously you'll be able to create an array of day and night time looks. Every single shade in this palette is highly pigmented. I find using my finger to add the shimmery shades work better than when using a brush. The shimmery shades aren't that chunky that you end up with big pieces of glitter on your eye and they blend in nicely.
