The Naked Smoky Palette
This was my first ever palette I had purchased from Urban Decay. When I first saw this palette I just knew I had to have it. From the sleek packaging, to the combination of shades, it had me gripped!
The palette itself boasts both Matte and Shimmery shades. I tend to use the darker shades for the outer half of my eye lid and the lighter shades to complete the look. I was also surprised to see how much use I actually get out of this palette.
When I first got this palette I didn't really use the brush that came with it however, recently I've been really loving it. The fluffy end is great for blending out and the pencil side is great to smoke out colour on the lower lash line.
As you can see the shades picture beautifully. They are all so pigmented! I have to make sure to tap off the excess product before adding it to my lid, as a little goes a long way. I love how there's a good dark to light ratio, which makes it very usable. All the shades are individually named and have their own uniqueness to them. The mirror isn't the best thing about this palette however, I can imagine it to be somewhat useful if you're travelling with limited weight restrictions. Furthermore, the goldy shades can also double act as a highlighter simply because of the amount of shimmer that's on them.
I believe Urban Decay no longer sell this palette which is very sad. It's a wonderful palette and can be used in so many different ways. Urban Decay are always bringing out new palettes which are an amazing combination of their past, present and future palettes. Urban Decay are known for their amazing palette and the packaging differs on ALL of them.
