The Body Shop Hydrating Toner 250ml- £8
The Pixi Glow Tonic 250ml- £18
Although these two products look very different and contain different ingrediants, their main aims are more similar than you may think. They are both made for dry skin conditions and their number one goal is to restore moisture.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner:
This was the first toner to grace my skincare collection!I started using this to implement a toner in my skincare regime. I wanted to start with something that was great for my sensitive skin and wouldn't leave my skin feeling and looking red afterwards. After using this product I realised that my T-Zone was very hydrated making it somewhat oily. This was a pleasant surprise for me simply because, my nose was one of the places where I would get the most dry, making it flaky. This product is lightly scented, but the fragrance is welcoming and gives me that fresh finish. The texture of the product is thicker than the glow tonic and has a little bit of a silky feel to it, but doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy. This product doesn't necessarily change the texture of my skin or make a huge noticeable change to the appearance but it does feel hydrated.

The Pixi Glow Tonic:
This is a more newer addition to my skincare collection. I've only just dived into the world of good acids in skincare. The main ingredient that reeled me into this product was the glycolic acid. This ingredient has been know to encourage exfoliation. I love a good exfoliant for my face, as I mentioned above I do suffer with dry skin, so anything exfoliating I'm all for! I also suffer with those pesky blackheads, although these can't be completely removed, this product does lessen the appearance of them. After I've used the glow tonic, there is a noticeable difference to my skin the following morning, it looks a lot healthier, brighter and a lot less red! Compared to the Vitamin E toner, this product has a somewhat medicinal fragrance to it, the witch hazel and glycolic acid might have something to do with it.

I like to apply both of these products with a cotton pad and I lightly wipe it over my face and neck. After applying this I follow it up with my E45 moisturiser. I tend to use these toners as part of my night time skin care routine, I love how it sinks into my skin over night and in the morning, my skin is ready to tackle the day. It's great for when I want to be make up free or even when I want to add a little something.
