Drops of Light Brightening Serum £26 |
This was the first serum I added to my collection. I purchased this not to target any specific problem areas but more so because I was getting so many recommendations. Everyone was telling me, "you need to try this, it's amazing" in a way you can say I succumbed to peer pressure!- I have 0 regrets though as this product has been a treat for my skin.
First impressions: The fragrance is amazing! Usually I hate fragranced skin care products, but this is a welcome surprise- it's not over powering, smells fresh and clean.
There are different ways to apply a serum. I started off by applying half a couple of drops on my hand and then patting it into my skin. Over time, I've started to apply it directly from the pipette. I use a couple of drops on each side of my face and pat it in. Once applied my skin already feels smooth and supple. I follow this up with my moisturiser and oh my, the level of moisture that it gives me is noticeable in just seconds.
Some serums have a gel like consistency this doesn't. The only way I can describe the texture is that it feels velvety and thin and it quickly absorbs in the skin.
I tend to use this as part of my Sunday night routine. After I've used a subtle face mask (Usually my Mario Badescu silver powder) I follow up with this. I love how it makes my skin feel and I love seeing the continued results the next morning.
My skin feels plump, healthy and looks a lot more radiant!
